New to Florida and I am looking for somebody with a boat......

I am new here, moved down from Iowa.  Don't know anyone in this area.  I would like to go out with someone that has a boat that knows where to fish.  I will be getting my saltwater license on next Friday, a little short of the 47.50 it costs for a non-resident which I will be for another 5 months. 
 
I checked to see what it would cost to charter a boat  a little out of my price range.  I would be willing to help with fuel and bait and such.  I also wouldn't mind going with someone that does pier and shore fishing.

Where do you live?

Myself I'm in Port Charlotte and fish mostly Charlotte Harbor.

I live in Punta Gorda.  In the neighborhood west of the muscle car city museum.  My wife said I could get my license early if someone wanted to go fishing.  I am currently jobless myself which was more or less planned by my wife and I, but just 4 weeks into this being a stay at home dad and I am pulling my hair out....haha.... it has nothing to do with my girls though..... my mother in law is staying with us until September  .   

I was working 50 to 80 hours a week driving semi back in Iowa, I would like to find a job driving here as well with less hours, we don't want to have to put our girls in child care. 

Anyways let me know when you would be available to go fishing and I will make arrangements to go.
